Abstract

Within the broader context of the ministry of religious education, this chapter seeks to attend to the primary issue: God's initiative in our lives. Becoming aware of the love of God for each individual causes us to respond in love to God, and to each other.Neither catechesis nor evangelization is possible without the action of God working through the power of the Holy Spirit. God is, in fact, the one who inspires and sustains all catecethical work, and all who undertake it.
