    Abstract

This paper argues for the use of Asset Based Community development as a method of orientated trasformation. It outlines a participatory understanding of the Kingdom and in the light of this proposes a paradigm of the Western church that allows it to be culturally relevant, whilst fully engaged in Kingdom mission.
