Abstract

This chapter is a contribution to the initial volume of the Earth Bible series, edited by Norman Habel. The series postulates 'six ecojustice principles' formulated at the Adelaide Consultation on Religion and the Environment in November 1997, and applies them to the biblical text. This chapter applies this hermeneutical methodology to the text of Revelation 21.1-22.5, and proposes an ecologically friendly reading.
