    Abstract

A paper presented to the International Conference on Mission Today and Tomorrow at All Hallows College, Dublin on 5 &6 June 2013. The paper argues how Christian service to society today must begin with prophet contemplation giving rise to life-centred service. Responding to the signs of the times Christian mission must foster peace and justice with special attention to the marginalized sections of human society.
