    Abstract

    The Festschrift honours Fr. Josef Neuner, S.J who has completed hundred gracious years on August 19, 2008 which includes 70 years of service in India, and who has had a colossal impact on Indian theology, meriting to be called the patriarch of Indian theology. At the time of change on world stage Neuner served as teache and a formator for several generations of priests and religious and as a world-class theologian who interfaced Christianity and other religions and also by serving as a "peritus" (expert) for Vatican II. The paers that constitute the Festschrift have the unifying focus on Neuner's influence on the areas of church's theology, life and mission.
