    Abstract

    The chapter shows the significance of Human Development in the unfolding of Christian mission. This is shown through an examination of the concept of Jubilee in the Old Testament and the Kingdom, the central theme of Jesus' ministry. There is also an analysis of the Catholic social Teachings.
