The following papers were initially delivered at The Parliament of World Religions, Melbourne, 9th December 2009, in a forum entitled: “Milestones and Signposts in Interfaith Relations: the view from Hindu, Christians and Islamic Perspectives”. They provide unique but complementary insights into the challenges and possibilities of interreligious dialogue. Islamic and Christian perspectives are presented here. A third perspective from the Hindu tradition, by Anita Ray, will be presented in the next AEJT issue. These are all invited presentations. [Editor]
