I would like to show that the understanding of Marriage, and of marriage as a sacrament is not as straightforward as it seems to be? A look at the tradition down the ages may lead us to ask: are we being unjust to people and our tradition when we cling to a fixed and unchangeable approach to marriage and indissolubility? The sacraments and faith go together. Marriage is an historically and cultural reality.
