    Abstract

Qoheleth addresses issues of contemporary relevance. We tend to respond, not with conversation, but with analysis and critique. While critique raises important questions, Ecclesiastes is a performative work full of probing questions. Qoheleth is a 'disciple for our time' beckoning a performative response.
