    Abstract

This paper examines whether the standard translations of Gal 2:16 that speak of no flesh being saved by works of the Law does not do justice to Paul's intention. The case is made that the translation "not all flesh" is precisely what Paul intends. The consequence of this for understanding Gal 2:16 is then explored.
