Film can be a powerful teaching tool in religious education. It can act as a type of narrative which conveys complex information in an engaging and stimulating way. Because of this, film is an excellent resource for conceptually challenging topics. Film also provides for a spiraling of learning by allowing for a new pedagogical style.
