What is the purpose of a Victorian Cathedral in today’s world? This article reflects on the role and function, vision and purpose of St Paul's Cathedral Melbourne, the seat of the Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne. It draws on historical and contemporary reflections on St Paul's to give an insight into the work of a contemporary Cathedral at the heart of the world's most liveable city.
