This book is a series of essays that examine in depth the arguments of Charles Taylor in 'A Secular Age?' The book has two parts. Part One is composed of six essays, three by Arena Editors and three by Christian thinkers. Part II is a long essay by Geoff Sharp that combines a ground-breaking interpretation of the limits of Taylor with a deepening of his developing thesis on the social being composed of constitutive levels of social abstraction, a development now in profound crisis.
