PublicationPreaching bondage: John Chrysostom and the discourse of slavery in early Christianity2015 de Wet, ChrisThis work introduces and investigates the novel concept of doulology, the discourse of slavery, in the homilies of John Chrysostom, the late fourth-century priest and bishop.
