This thesis was developed to explore concerns being expressed about the percieved divisions in the structure and ecclesiology of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, brought about by Te Pouhere/The Constitution 1992. Specifically the concern was to test whether baptism can become the key element which unifies, animates, and empowers the whole ACANZP, and if so what would be needed to change in practice and theology to make this understanding clear.
